Ralph Lockwood a longtime educator and served on the Clovis Unified School District school board. Lockwood was a teacher at Dry Creek Elementary School for six years, before moving to Fort Washington Elementary as teacher/principle in 1960. He was principal at Temperance Kutner, Tarpey and Weldon elementary schools. Additionally the WWII Navy veteran was the first principal at Clark Intermediate School and was principal at Gateway High School; Lockwood retired in 1985. As a result to his community contribution to education and Clovis Excellence, Ralph was inducted into the Clovis Hall of Fame in 1993. Ralph survived by his loving wife Darlene and two sons. Â Â
