
Kate Scott, a sportscaster from Clovis, California, has made history as a pioneering voice in sports media. She has called games for the NFL, the Olympics, and the NBA, and is also a commentator in the video game Madden NFL. Her talent and versatility have earned her a respected place in the industry.
A graduate of Clovis High School and UC Berkeley, Kate has achieved several firsts, including becoming the first woman to call an NFL game on the radio, the first to provide play-by-play for Pac-12 football, and the first to call a Golden State Warriors game on the radio. She also led the first all-female NHL broadcast in the U.S. and is now the voice of the Philadelphia 76ers.
Kate began her career as an intern at ABC30 and a writer for The Bear Insider. At UC Berkeley, she showcased her passion for sports by leading cheers for football and basketball. Through her groundbreaking work, she continues to inspire the next generation of women in sports broadcasting.
