Shirley Kreul was inducted into the Clovis Hall of Fame in 2006 for her representation of the Clovis Spirit. Joining two other Valley women to travel to Biloxi, Mississippi to help out. The local Lutheran Church needed some cooks for the volunteers who were constructing the new homes. Shirley used her culinary skill and ended up serving meals to more than 300 recovery workers a day.
