The Old Town Clovis Kiwanis Club, chartered in 2000, is a dedicated group of volunteers committed to making a difference in the lives of children and the local community. As part of the global Kiwanis organization, members work to shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, mentor youth, and support those in need. Their efforts extend to building playgrounds, raising funds for pediatric research, and fostering leadership development among young people.
Locally, the club plays a vital role in organizing community events, including the beloved Old Town Clovis Children's Electric Light Parade and the annual Rodeo Golf Tournament, held in partnership with the Clovis Rodeo Association. This tournament benefits the Clovis Hospital Guild, Fresno State Rodeo Team, and Kiwanis OTC projects. Additionally, the club awards multiple scholarships each year to students from Clovis Unified School District, Gateway High School, and Clovis Adult School. Through hundreds of hours of volunteer service, supporting schools, veteran organizations, and local fundraisers, Old Town Clovis Kiwanis remains dedicated to creating a thriving community where children, seniors, and families can succeed.
