Bob Althoff was inducted into the Clovis Hall of Fame in 2010 for his demonstration of the Clovis Spirit. He had a full time career as a volunteer in Clovis, mentoring, coaching and tutoring dozens of children. During the holiday season he would organize community food drives and helped provide Christmas food baskets to hundred's of local families in need. Joining the Fresno County Sheriff's Mounted Search and Rescue team in 1980. Bob has donated over 30 years in searching for lost hunters and hikers or other missing persons in the high country of eastern Fresno County. Other volunteer involvement includes the Clovis Rotary Club and Board of Directors of the CUSF (Hope House).
