Paul Spratz Sr

Mr. Paul Spratz was awarded the 2000 year The Friend of Youth award for his many years of support in various youth organizations. Paul started this support as President of the Jefferson Elementary School Parents Club in 1976. Later he put together a fund-raising plan to buy uniforms and equipment for the new Mickey Cox school soccer club. In 1983 Paul organized and served as President of the first Clovis High School Football Booster Club. In 1999 the club incorporated as a non- profit foundation with the purpose to support the Clovis High School athletes and the Cougar program which he founded. Paul still serves on the Clovis High School Cougar Foundation which awards ten $500 scholarships to graduating seniors. Paul and his wife, Teri-Ann, were happy to start the "home cooked meals" which became a varsity team working dinner held each Wednesday during football season. He has served on the Clovis Unified School District Attendance Review Board and recently as the chair of the citizens committee organized to study the capital development needs for the Clovis Unified School District.
