Mollie Jacobsen

Born in Princeton, New Jersey, Mollie Jacobsen has spent most of her life in Clovis, California. She is the eldest of three sisters and a proud mother to her energetic 10-year-old daughter, Reagan.

A graduate of Clovis High School and Fresno State, Mollie earned a B.A. in Criminology in 2006 and later a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2022. She began her law enforcement career with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office before joining the Clovis Police Department in 2007. Over the years, she has served in patrol, the bike unit, honor guard, defensive tactics instruction, and as a detective on the narcotics and special enforcement teams, working to combat drugs, gangs, and human trafficking.

Mollie now serves as the department’s Mental Health Liaison, a role in which she connects individuals and families with critical mental health resources. She applies her law enforcement experience and therapeutic background to support those in crisis, making a lasting impact in the community.

Outside of work, Mollie volunteers with her church, the Fresno Rescue Mission, and youth programs. An avid traveler, she enjoys exploring the world, with recent trips to Iceland and Quebec. She credits her success to her faith and family and is honored to have been recognized as Officer of the Year.
