Daryle Lamonica was inducted into the Clovis Hall of Fame in 1994 for his continuous contribution to the community. He was a highly decorated NFL player, most famously known as quarterback for the Raiders, who regardless of status never forgot his roots. After returning to Clovis he would donate a total of $60,000 to the Clovis Drug Prevention Council. Whether in or out of town, he would continue to be a good role model for the youth. After his 1968 Superbowl with the Raiders, Clovis Unified named "Lamonica Stadium" after him, carrying on his unforgettable legacy.
