Clovis 9-11 Memorial Foundation

The California 9-11 Memorial was established to honor, educate and remember.

It was dedicated in December 2001 shortly after the tragic events of September 11th.

Every year a commemoration ceremony is held to remember the victims. The site of the memorial was gifted from the Cook family.

Community members, local design firms and national artists were called in to plan and build a 1/100th scale replicas of the Twin Towers and Pentagon. In addition, the site now includes a limited edition bronze statue of the first responders as well as story boards and a water feature that represents elements from the National 9-11 Memorial in New York City.

The California 9-11 Memorial has also partnered with the County Office of Education to promote and establish the One Voice musical event which brings together students and community members to reflect on the unification that our Country experienced as a result of that tragic September day.

The Memorial also commissioned a song by world renowned composer and song writer Kevin Memley.
