Cliff and Mary Steward were inducted into the Clovis Hall of Fame in 1997 for their service to the community. Cliff Steward; a Veteran who not only honorable served his country during WWII, but served his community in a multitude of ways. He was a volunteer for the Clovis Police Reserve from 1954-57, an active member in the Clovis Boy League from 1958-76, and a member of the Clovis Rodeo Association (serving as president in 1981-82). Mary Steward; was a dedicated mother who not only served her family but the community as well. She served as PTA president and room mother at her children's schools, was Girls Scout cookie chairman and assisted with Girl Scout meetings as well as field trips, and was a part of the Clovis Hospital Guild.
