Claudia Fletcher

Claudia Fletcher received the Spirit of Clovis award. Fletcher, a local artist who has painted commercially for many years, was credited with capturing the spirit of Clovis with her murals and artwork. She created the Mustang logo for the Chamber of Commerce. Since 1992 Claudia Fletcher has created the watercolor paintings that have presented the image of Clovis for the Clovis Rodeo Association (CRA).  Her masterful understanding of the anatomy and movement of the horses, bulls, and riders she portrays is the heart of the phenomenal impact of the annual posters she has produced over the years.

Claudia’s love of horses and western life is shown in her art both large and small. Her motorcycle tank art, fine art and equine art have been featured in magazines including “Equine Images”, “California Horse Review”, and “U.S. Art”. She has won numerous awards and shown her work in galleries throughout California and Washington.
