Wayne & Thelma Riley was inducted into the Clovis Hall of Fame in 1996 for their professional contributions to the community. They were the first couple to be nominated together and could truly be called a power couple. Wayne was known as a jack of all trades working as a city inspector, ran a garage, volunteered in the Fire Department and as a Police Officer. Thelma owned a salon which ran for three-generations for 15 years and was a member of the Rebeccas.
