Veffa Shearon

Veffa Shearon was inducted into the Clovis Hall of Fame in 1977 for her professional contributions to the community. She acted as secretary for numerous businesses in the Clovis area, including the Clovis Memorial Hospital board of directors. During World War I, she worked for the Federal Housing Authority. Her other achievements include working as the deputy of health registrar for 20 years and working as the Clovis city clerk for 8 years.
