Dr. Terry Kershaw was awarded the 2016 Community Awards - Citizen of the Year. Dr. Kershaw's educational background includes a Masters in General Agriculture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a Doctorate in Education Management from the University of Laverne. Dr. Kershaw held various positions with the State Center Community College District for 36 years in both instructional and administrative leadership roles. Those roles included Instructor and Department Chair of the Reedley College Agriculture Program. When Dr. Kershaw retired in 2012, he was the Founding Campus President of the Clovis Community College Center. He oversaw the accreditation process of moving Willow International Center toward initial accreditation a Clovis Community College.
