Robert & Colleen O'Dell were inducted into the Clovis Hall of Fame in 2004 for they're service to the community. After serving honorable in the Army Robert settled in Clovis where he worked for United California Bank for 30 years. During that time, he spent 24 years as a Director of the Clovis Memorial District where he played a major role in the expansion of the Rex Phebus Veterans' Memorial Building and the opening of the Veterans' Memorial Square, currently the home of the five statues honoring the nations military. He was also instrumental in the joint effort between the Memorial District and the City of Clovis in creating the Senior Center. Colleen has spent her time raising their three children and being active in youth activities. She has been involved with the Girl and Boys Scouts, was co-founder of the Clovis Jets Swim Club and Clovis Recreational Baseball. At Clovis high she was active with the swimming, diving, and water polo team, gymnastics, band and color guard, FFA and pep and cheer. She has volunteered for the Clovis Hospital Guild for over 20 years. In recognition of the O'Dell's contributions to the hospital, a second floor visitor waiting room in named in their honor.
