Paul Andrew was the Superintendent of Clovis Schools from 1925 until 1944 and helped develop the foundation of the Clovis school system. He is remembered for suggesting the creation of stones commemorating each graduating class of Clovis High School. Today the Clovis High School stones can be found on the grounds between the Clovis Veterans Memorial District and the current San Joaquin College of Law (previous location of Clovis High). After a successful career in Clovis, Mr. Andrew went on to serve as Supervisor of the Second District of San Luis Obispo County. He was inducted as a Founder into the 1995 Clovis Hall of Fame.
