Murial Smittcamp was inducted into the Clovis Hall of Fame in 2001 for her service to the community. Co-founder of the Smittcamp Family Business, she had a profound impact on the San Joaquin Valley economy; In addition roughly 500 permanent employees and over 1,000 seasonal employees, over 200 grower families from Arvin to Merced make up and benefit from this business. She also participated in the Clovis High P.T.A., Garfield Elementary School Mother's Club, was a founding member of the Ranchero Guild of Valley Children's Hospital, and 4-H /F.F.A. supporter, just to name a few. She also m ade time for her children's and grandchildren's fundraising propositions.
