Loris Grossi was elected in the Clovis Hall of Fame in 1975 for his professional contributions to the community. He graduated from Clovis High School in 1926 and built a supermarket on Clovis Avenue in 1960. A grocer born in Maine and raised in Clovis, Mr. Grossi was always actively participating in community projects. He was the president of the Clovis Chamber of Commerce, grand marshall of the Clovis Rodeo Parade, board of directors for the Clovis Community Hospital and sponsored various sports activities.
