Leslie "Les" Sassano

Les Sassano became known as Clovis Pioneer and a Clovis native icon. Les Sassano was the owner of the city’s oldest family owned business, “Sassano’s.” He was a class act and was known for his friendly demeanor that left such a memorable impact in the community. Sassano was an active member in the community involved in the Business Organization of Old Town, Chamber of Commerce, and the American Legion. He also served as a volunteer fireman with the Clovis Fire Department and on the board of directors of the Clovis Rodeo Association. Born and raised in Clovis, his connections in the valley run deep and wide.
