Kathy Millison was inducted into the Chamber Hall of Fame 2012. Kathy dedicated her career as City Manager of Clovis for 19 years and before that eight years as Assistant City Manager. Her significant accomplishments include working with the community to develop and direct a community growth management program for Clovis through the year 2035. This program has created new neighborhoods and community centers to support economic vitality of the urban core and promote active living with the Clovis parks, trails, bikeways and transit corridors. A 15 year public facility program was delivered under her care that included 3 fire stations, maintenance and operational facility, police and fire headquarters, high speed fiber optic network for traffic synchronization, government and school connectivity, public safety network of high speed wireless network, water treatment and public Wi Fi zone. Kathy also developed partnerships with non-profit organizations to support an animal adoption center, botanical garden, public art, wildlife rescue, community theater and other Clovis amenities. Kathy has been active on many boards of professional and community based organizations during her career.
