John Wallace

John Wallace (Franzman) was inducted into the Chamber Hall of Fame in 2012. John was a Fresno radio and television newscaster and sportscaster in the Fresno market for almost 50 years. He was a humanitarian for the less fortunate and an advocate for children in the Fresno and Clovis communities. He served on the Clovis Planning Commission, Clovis Rotary, Foundation For Clovis Schools, Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Special Olympics among many others. John was an avid Fresno State Bulldog fan plus other sports and was the .public address announcer for the CAL League Fresno Giants. John was a member of the Buchanan High School Foundation Board, Chairman and then CEO of the Foundation for Clovis Schools.
