Joe & Sharon Levy were inducted into the Clovis Hall of Fame in 2001 for their professional contributions and service to the community. Joe Levy worked diligently on establishing a freeway system in California with an initial push to start the new Highway 168. He was also the Executive Committee of Fresno Business Council, a trustee for U.C. Merced Foundation, a Director of the National Retail Federation, past Director of the California Chamber of Commerce, and the Fresno Chamber of Commerce. Sharon Levy served on the Fresno County Board of Supervisors for a total of 26 years. She served the Fresno County Planning Commission for four years. During the 25 years as Fresno County Supervisor, she represented District 2 which included the western portion of Clovis.
