Ike Herrera was inducted into the Clovis Hall of Fame in 2002 for his service to the community. He not only served his community but his country, serving in the Navy during WWII as a Gunners Mate First Class and participating in nine battles. Upon his exit from the Navy, Ike was presented with a letter of commendation from President Truman. He later started a plumbing company, Sudden Plumbing, and invested in rental property eventually owning 9 houses, 9 apartments, and 4 property lots.
