Glenn Reavis was inducted into the Clovis Hall of Fame during 1978 for his professional contributions to the community. Born in Idaho, he moved to Clovis in 1926 and worked for Clovis High School for 13 years as a science teacher. Then, in 1939 Glenn became superintendent of Clovis Elementary School District. He served 22 years as superintendent and retired as principal of Luther Weldon Elementary School in 1962. His other presidency included the Fresno County Elementary School Administrators and Clovis branch of Red Cross. Glenn has been elected on the Clovis City Council and as mayor of Clovis.
