Gino was born on July 30, 1922 in Hellkitchen, New York. The U.S> Airforce and WWII beckoned him to proudly serve his country as a member of the 461st Bomb Squadron. Soon after the war, Gino himself starting a new life in a small town of 3,500 people called Clovis. In August of 1952 he was hired as a patrol officer. Gino served his community well, impacting everyone he met. Soon Gino was promoted to Captain on November 1, 1969 and retired after 30 years of service to Clovis PD. As a result of Gino’s impact for the youth in the valley and clubs, the police department renames the youth center to, “The Pishoine Youth Center.” In 1976, Gino was inducted into the Clovis Hall of Fame because of his unforgettable impact.
