Ginny Boris

Ginny Boris was inducted into the Clovis Hall of Fame in 2010 for her educational contribution to the Clovis area and all of the Central Valley. Starting as a high school math teacher Ginny was quickly promoted to math department Chairman, then High School Learning Director. she served as Deputy Principle of Kastner Intermediate School. Her next assignment was in the CUSD District Office serving as the Assistant Superintendent for the newly created Buchanan High School Area. Ginny's next position, as Associate Superintend of Curriculum and Instruction for the entire Clovis Unified District. After an amazing and accomplished 38 year career in Clovis Unified, full of innovation and achievements, Dr. Boris used her talents to improve education throughout the Central Valley. She began as a faculty of California State University, Fresno, teaching courses in Educational Masters and Doctoral programs. She was also Co-Director of the Central Valley Educational Leadership Institute, providing programs to address the achievement gap and coaches, principles district administrators and superintendents in the Central Valley.
