Ghilotti Family

The Ghilotti Family were inducted into the Clovis Hall of Fame in 2006 as Founders. Beginning with John Ghilotti who came to San Francisco in 1905 from a northern part of Italy. Due to pleurisy, he was advised to move to the warmer, drier air of the San Joaquin Valley. While on a trip back to Italy he fell in love with Mary Pozzi of Sondrio. John Ghilotti brought Mary back to America where they married in 1915 and later had two kids Julius and Anna Ghilotti. They would go on to continue living in Clovis and work in the Clovis economy.
