Fumio Ikeda

Fumi Ikeda was nominated into the Clovis Hall of Fame in 1996 for his professional contributions to the community. After serving in the Army during WWII for 4 years Fumi Ikeda would return to Clovis and buy land with his brother; growing figs, grapes, and almonds. He was an active member within the community; being lifelong member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Nisei Liberty Post 506, Clovis American Legion post 147, Established Clovis Judo Club, and organized charity events which raised money for scholarships for local high school students.
