Frank, a long time resident and businessman of Clovis, was a founding member of the Clovis Lumber Company in the early 1900s, Frank became sole owner in 1928 and remained active in the company until his death in 1971.
Frank was also a founder of the Clovis Rodeo Association, and was Clovis Rodeo Grand Marshall in 1967. He was also a member of the Cecil Cox Post of the American Legion, the Clovis Masonic Lodge, the Shrine and Scottish Rite, and Past Patron of the Order of the Easter Star, Clovis Chapter. Frank served as a respected member of the Clovis City Council from 1942 - 1950.
Maude Bell was also actively engaged in the Clovis community. She was a member of the Memorial Methodist Church; the Clovis Women's Club; The Clovis Art Guild; and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was also a Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Clovis Chapter.
The Bell and Kirkpatrick were true pioneers of Clovis. They generously shared their values with their own family - and with our larger Clovis family.
