Elvey Perkins

 Mr. Perkins was a Clovis native who became a respected representative of the city and employee of the city of Clovis for 35 years. Full of laughter and joy, Perkins was known for his outstanding leadership and was inducted into the Clovis Hall of Fame in 1993. Perkins survived by the love of his wife Lois Perkins, three sins, and grandchildren. In 1957, Clovis had a population of 5,000, Perkins first job was the Operator for Clovis Sewage Treatment Plan. In 1972 he became Supervisor for Fresno’s system. From public works Perkins was called an “unsung hero.”
