David McDonald

David McDonald was inducted into the Clovis Hall of Fame in 2002 as Citizen of the Year. He owned a Clovis Company, Pelco, selling and manufacturing video security systems; growing from 90 employees to 1,300 employees during the 15 years McDonald was president. He was a philanthropist who supported pets, parks and arranged for 1,150 New York-area public officers to attend the California Memorial Dedication in Clovis to honor those who lost their lives. He was later chosen as the New York City's grand marshal for the city's St. Patrick's Day Parade. The 9-11 Memorial sits on the Pelco property.
