Coke Hallowell was inducted into the Clovis hall of Fame in 2007 for her service to the community. A recipient of the Onassis Award for Outstanding Public Service, she has always pushed for the betterment of the community. She was a member of the junior League of Fresno, served as president of the Los Rancheros Guild of Valley Children's Hospital and is a member of the Women's Symphony League and Volunteer Bureau Board of Directors. She served tow terms on the state Center Community College District board of trustees, was chairman of the U.S. State Department's International Visitors committee and has served as a tutor and vice president on the Fresno Adult Literacy Council.
