The Clovis Lions Club was inducted into the Clovis Hall of Fame in 2007. Since its inception, its primary attention has been on assisting blind and sight-impaired citizens with eye examinations and glasses. by coordinating with nurses of CUSF. The Clovis Lions reaches beyond our schools by providing the gift of sight to citizen of Ensenada, Mexico through eyeglass collection. They provide assistance to the Clovis Fire Department. Every October the club provides and cooks the food for the Annual Open House. its famous culinary skills have provided barbecues and steak dinners for the Clovis Hospital Guild, U.S. Olympic Finals at the Clovis West Swim complex, the First California Balloon Festival and Breakfast with the Animals at the Chaffee Zoo. They participate in the Annual Clovis Senior Citizen Spaghetti Dinner, Koats for Kids and Thanksgiving and Christmas food gift baskets with the Salvation Army as well as the Clovis Boys and Girls Club and school parent club
