Cecil Hill, inductee for the 1998 Hall of Fame, was selected for his tremendous contribution to the growth and development of Clovis over 21 years. Mr. Hill was affiliated with Hughes Aircraft Company in various technical and business management capacities for 27 years. While working at Hughes he established Clovis Reality in1977 and has been president of that company since. Cecil has been involved in various local real estate transactions including the development of the "Old Time Square" mall in Clovis. Mr. Hill has served as a councilor of Yosemite Bible Camp numerous times, is past president of the Clovis Business Organization of Old Town, member of the Clovis Chamber of Commerce, member of the National California and Fresno Associations of Realtors, member of the Rotary club, worked with the "Vision" camp for "at-risk" teens and worked in President Reagan's "White House Conference of Productivity" Board. Mr Hill initiated a two long year effort to have the San Joaquin College of Law acquired and moved into the old Clovis High School building. Cecil has truly assisted the growth and development of the community of Clovis.
