Al Radka was inducted into the Clovis Hall of Fame in 2003. During WWII he served in the Army Air Force was discharged in 1946. After his serves he worked as a personnel manager for Roma Winery until he was offered a daily radio show on KARM. When Television gained popularity, Radka stopped doing his popular radio show and started hosting live record hop on Saturday afternoons on KFRE-TV, Channel 12, now KFSN, and Channel 30. Radka was also the creator of many well-known jingles, including Lamoure's "two for one," "Ace is the place" and "Dutch Chandler, the Sanger banger."
